Because Green Week Wasn't Cool Enough

I'm ready to kick Green Week behind me...I did see lots of green just nothing that would even remotely warrant getting its picture taken.

So I end the week (a day late...sorry!) with a picture that you have already seen on here before but I think it suits Green Week perfectly...

and this one make me think of green...just use your imagination since the focus isn't technically on green...

Green Week - Day 4

Still not feeling the green but it's getting better!

Can you sense a theme here?? The weather has officially gotten beautiful. We are supposed to reach 82 degrees today and tomorrow it will be 84...even the night time lows are only in the low 60's. I "heart" spring!

I'm still feeling a tad uninspired for this week's color...I'll need to get more creative!

Green Week & Such

So this week will be Green Week around here. I had a bunch of fun with the Yellow Week installment and I'm hoping to find inspiration with this green thing. So far, I've not felt very inspired but it's just the beginning of the week, right? Much more room for improvement.

Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE my red bud tree in the backyard. I've already gotten to experience one full seasonal year with it and it did not disappoint. As I took Lawyer to school this morning (yeah!), I noticed so many things blooming: bradford pears with their white blossoms, wisteria vines, the mesquite trees with their plume-y green lushness and also, the red bud tree in my back yard.

Spring is in the air!
