8 Months Old...

Here is my nephew, now 8 months old. Click on my Flickr tab on the top right of my blog to see more pictures...these were just my favorites.

FYI: I'm actually working on my pricing structure that I plan on offering for my photography and I do know that while I'm in the process of building my portfolio that there will be discounts on my products and services for a limited time! I'm so excited to start this up!

Thanks for the input too about my possible plunge into photography! I'm not in a hurry so I think that should make for some wise decisions in this new journey of mine.

The Well-Needed Break

I'm back! I had a very enjoyable weekend and got a chance to decompress. It was well-deserved and well-needed, trust me.

My brother-in-law and his family made an impromptu weekend visit and it was a lot of fun. The baby has gotten so big and he was full of smiles.

Of course, that meant PICTURES! I've been in a rut with my photography lately...Lawyer has been a less-than-willing subject and you can only take so many backyard plant pictures. This baby made my photography cup runneth over! Here are a few of my favorites:

This Little Guy

He made an appearance this weekend! I can't wait to post more pics, especially since he is mesmerized every time I get my camera out. Thanks Ryan and Margaret for letting us get our baby fill in this weekend!

Chubby Cheek-Fest

Since this week is Lawyer' spring break, Jason, Lawyer and I made an impromptu visit to see Jason's brother, wife and new baby in Houston. It was Lawyer's and my first time seeing baby Daniel and he was a chunky monkey baby delight!

I had planned on bringing my camera anyway (don't leave home without it!) but when my brother-in-law wanted me to bring it along, I knew I was going to have a baby photo-fest.

At four months old and 16.5 pounds of pure baby fluff, Lawyer and I couldn't keep our hands off his overly voluptuous cheeks. Lawyer kept squishing his cheeks together, saying "I love you chubby cheeks". It was hilarious and sweet all wrapped in one.

And it was the first time Lawyer had really been around a baby so it was good to see how interested he was in Daniel. He constantly was making sure the baby was covered up in the blanket, that he was being played with, and Lawyer would even wipe up his spit off the baby's face.

Anyhow, it was fun and I think the pictures turned out great of the baby. We're still on spring break so it's hit or miss for the remainder of the weekend but I'm hoping to be back in full force starting Monday! I've got lots to show and share!
